Melissa Snyder & Katryn Taylor are wandering the world in France this week, February 14, 2025.
HAPPY GALENTINE'S DAY
In the morning we visited the fresh food market buying spices and specialty items like sugared mint.
Then we headed for the historic fortification turned into working artist studios where we mingled with the artist observing a few performing their artistic wonders. Paying tribute to their talent , Melissa purchased a few artist wares for loved ones.
Following our artist adventure we had a Galentine afternoon with an Italian lunch at Bistro Chez Jules. We shopped some more in a few of my favorite locals, buying more presents.
It's a little chilly this time of year, so we tucked into a cute spot that we had discovered for lunch the day before to warm up and try an amazing strawberry mousse creation dessert and jasmine tea at Le Maizons.
My husband Bryan joined us for dinner as we all settled into my favorite restaurant in Antibes.
Rustique is very small family owned establishment with the brick pizza oven in the corner filling the place with its warmth, adding to the old world charm.
We had a fondue for the main course, followed with floating island and a pear sorbet for dessert.
It was a night filled with laughter and good fellowship amongst friends.
